Installing after Downloading
After you have downloaded the Chat Watch setup file to your computer,
double-click it to begin the installation.
Installing from the CD-ROM
Insert the Chat Watch CD-ROM into your disk drive. If the
installation does not automatically start, click Start, Run, and type
D:\cw5_setup.exe (where D:\ is the
CD-ROM drive) and press enter.
The Chat Watch CD-ROM will download and install the newest version of
Chat Watch 5.
Notes
- It is highly recommended that you choose the option to download and
install the instant message logging plugins during Chat Watch's
installation. If you do not select this option you will have to download
and install each desired plugin individually.
- It is recommended that the first time you run Chat Watch you
open Chat Watch's settings, click the IM Plugins, and select
the instant messengers that you want to log. You must do this before
Chat Watch will log any chats.
