Instant Messengers
To select which instant messengers you want Chat Watch to log, click
Settings from the Tools menu. When the Settings dialog is shown
click IM Plugins.
Chat Watch 5 uses plugins to log the instant messages. Select the
instant messengers in the list that you want to log. For example, if you
want to log AOL Instant Messenger 5.9 chats, select the plugin for AOL
Instant Messenger 5.9.
During Chat Watch 5's installation you are given the option to
download and install the plugins for the most common instant messengers
(AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, MSN Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger). It is
highly recommended that you select this option to automate the download
and install of the plugins. If you do not select this option you will
have to manually download and install the plugins by clicking the link
below.
